V.O.C SOUND is an independent record label aiming at promoting local artists music, mainly from Mthatha. The record label was initially founded as a dance crew by a group of friends who live in Northcrest, Mthatha. It was later turned into a record label. 

Artists include Abongile Mona aka “big1ne”, Earl, Ntsele Siphambo aka “Martian”, Ovayo Matshanda aka “Oviou JJ, Unathi Matshanda aka “Verb”, Uyanda Siyo aka “Uyas”, Viwe Mgomti aka “Sochanowva” and Vuma Sidama aka “Vusta”, Luyolo Mbooi aka "Yolo". The artists mentioned create hip hop music but are not limited to genre. Our artists are known for collaboration with artists from “Gravitation Blast Yo Speakers Entertainment”.
