Abongile Mona aka "Big1ne" started writing poetry in the 7th grade. At this time she enjoyed different types of genres and drew inspiration from them. She was mostly inspired to write poetry by the likes of Mac Manaka, Lebo Mashile and Tupac Shakur. Listening to Eminem, Nas and Zola gave her the vision to start writing to the beat. Today she finds artists like Drake, Kanye West, AKA, & Casper great motivation for making music. Big1ne is also interested in making short films. One of her favorite quotes is "Greatness isn't this esoteric, wonderful, illusive, Godlike feature only the special among us will taste. Its something that exists in all of us. Its simple, this is what I believe and I'm willing to die for it" - Will smith. Big1ne is currently working on her 1st mix-tape titled Awkward Silence.
