Oviou JJ
Ovayo Matshanda aka “Oviou JJ" is a 19 year old rapper, songwriter and dancer. He started dancing in 2012 with brother "Unathi Verb Matshanda" and friends. The dance crew was called VOC and later turned to a music crew - VOC SOUND. He was always into hip-hop growing so it was no surprise when he started raping. Oviou JJ has been influenced by many artists and describes his music as a mix of many genres within music. He is also inspired by his experiences with family, friends and the city in which he was raised (Mthatha- South Africa). Oviou JJ just released his first single, Paradise, from his first solo mixtape titled "Self Esteem"
Vuma Sidama aka “Vusta” is a 18 year old xhosa from Mthatha in the Eastern Cape. He grew up listenin to Kwaito, Pop & House music but later on fell inlove with the art of hip-hop. He is the last born of 3 children so he has felt sheltered all his life. Vusta was inspired by Lil Wayne and still is till this day. He is thankful to his cousin Sikelela (CK) for introducing him to Lil Wayne's sound. Chris Brown is another inspiration because of his versatility. Luyolo Mbooi aka "Yolo" is currently finishing his 12th grade at Khanyisa high school. His interests include modelling, drawing and music. He was recently crowned "Mr Khanyisa 2016" earlier this year. Yolo is featured in songs such as Come Over & Exodus by Oviou JJ.
